Dr. Singh has done M.Com and M.A in Sociology besides LL.M. He has been a JRF awardee in Law. He has also qualified the UGC Net in Sociology.
He has attended several national and international seminars, workshops and conferences in India and has also published articles in the national journals on legal and social issues.

He did his Ph.D in Law on the topic ‘A critical study of Film Censorship in India-A study of post independence period ’ from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow
He is a member of Legal Aid Committee and Cyber Committee of the University.

His areas of interest are Cyber Law, Environment Law, Media Law and Taxation Law.
