Dr. Aman Deep Singh began his academic career in 2013 as a faculty at Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. He did his PhD in Law on the topic ‘A critical study of Film Censorship in India- A study of post-independence period’ from Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow.
His research interests include Cyber Law, Environment Law, Film Censorship & Liberty, Digital Human Rights, Law & Economics, Internet Governance, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Consumer Protection Law, Labour Laws, AI and Privacy.
He is serving the University in various administrative and academic capacities like Member-Proctorial Board, Associate Warden UG Boys Hostel, Director- RMLNLU Incubation Cell, Faculty Coordinator-Debate & Discussion Committee, Member - Cultural Committee, Member- Cyber Committee, Nodal Officer: Road Safety Club-RMLNLU, Faculty Coordinator-Unnat Bharat Abhiyan at RMLNLU. He has served the University as Associate Controller of Examination from 2014 till 2024.
He is currently engaged in the Uttar Pradesh Human Rights Commission-sponsored project "A Study of Issues & Challenges of Digital Human Rights in the State of Uttar Pradesh".
He is a Life Member of the Computer Society of India, the Indian Sociological Society and the Sobha Singh Memorial Art Society. He has attended several national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences in India and has published articles in national journals on legal and social issues. He has been a part of training programmes at various premier academic and research institutions in the Country.
