Dr. Manoj Kumar Completed his LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in the year 2005 and his LL.M. from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in the year 2008. He has also completed his Ph.d. in Law from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in the year 2016. His research title for Ph.d. is "Role of Regulators: Constitutional and Legal Framework." He has served as Assistant Professor in Faculty of Law, University of Delhi for around four years. He has taught various subjects like Law of Contract, Law of Partnership, Company Law, Commercial Transactions, Law of Torts, Law of Evidence, Administrative Law, Pleadings, Conveyancing and Professional Ethics etc. He has published many articles and books on various socio-legal issues. He has worked as member in Editorial Board of National Capital Law Journal, 2011 published by Law Centre-II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. He has also authored books on the title "Regulation and Regulatory Process in India"; “Health Laws and Policies in India” which has been published by International and National publishers. He has also published some book reviews and participated and presented papers in various national and international seminars and conferences. He has been actively assisting in various administrative works of the University.

His area of research and interest is Administrative Law and Commercial Laws. Now, he has been serving at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Lucknow since October 2013.

  • Ph.D. in Law from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi under the title “Role of Regulators: Constitutional and Legal Framework” in the year 2016.
  • Qualified UGC-NET in the subject ‘Law’ in the year 2007.
  • Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi in the year 2008.
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi in the year 2005.
  • Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B. Lib. & Inf. Sc.) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (Haryana) in the year 2001.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Geography (B.A. (H) Geography) from Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, University of Delhi, Delhi in the year 2000.

  • Served as ‘Assistant Professor’ on a Full-time Ad- hoc basis at Law Centre- II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi from 14th January 2011 to 30th September 2013 in a pay scale of 15600-39100 with AGP Rs.6000/-
  • Served as ‘Assistant Professor’ on a Full-time Ad- hoc basis at Law Centre- I, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi from 21st July 2009 to 30th June 2010 in a pay scale of 15600-39100 with AGP Rs.6000/-

Completed Research Project of Rs.5,00,000/- on the title “Socio-Economic Impact of Digital India Scheme in the State of Uttar Pradesh” under ‘Special Call for Short-Term Empirical Research, 2023- 24’ sponsored by Indian Council for Social Science Research, New Delhi in March 2024.
