Ms. Priya Anuragini works as an Assistant Professor at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University in Lucknow. She teaches numerous courses including International Trade Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Competition Law, International Organizations, Contract Law, Corporate Law in the University to both LL.B. and LL.M. students. Her doctoral study assesses the status of women refugees in India using the postcolonial approach which highlights the impact of colonial and gendered nature of the international legal regime and its implications for India and its refugee population particularly women.
Ms. Anuragini has presented her research at various national and international seminars and conferences and published in journals and online portals. A keen advocate of using law as an enabling and empowering tool in varying social and economic contexts, Ms. Anuragini’s research interests include colonial conception of international regime and its implications in different domains including international refugee law, international trade law, and intellectual property rights, accessibility issues pertaining to health and knowledge and legal limitations and possibilities, evolution of anti-trust regime in India, and gendered nature of law.
Prior to joining Dr. RMLNLU as an Assistant Professor, Ms. Anuragini has worked with a reputed law firm based in New Delhi. She has completed her Master’s from NLSIU Bengaluru and holds both B.A. (Hons.) in Mathematics and LL.B. Degree from University of Delhi. Currently, she is a member of the working group on access to medicines and treatments of the Third World Network
