Dr. Rajneesh Kumar Yadav did his LL.M. from the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj, in 2001. He was the recipient of J.R.F. and S.R.F. as well. He was awarded a Ph.D. degree in 2010 from the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj. His research topic was "Right to Information: An Emerging Concept in the Governance of the Country (India) and Judicial Response." He actively participated as a co-coordinator in the first-ever Social Audit and Rapid Assessment of the Child Care Institutions in the State of U.P., the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of U.P.

He presented papers and participated in several national and international conferences/seminars etc. He contributed as chairperson/co-chairperson of various academic programmes of national and international repute. He organized various academic programmes such as conferences/seminars/workshops, etc. He organized a National Conference as Director on 12th October 2015 on the completion of 10 years of RTI in India. He taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in law at RMLNLU. Four research scholars were awarded Ph.D. degrees under his able guidance and supervision. 05 research scholars are presently working in diverse research areas under his supervision under Ph.D. programme.

Dr. Yadav has taken up various administrative assignments such as Controller of Examination and Chairperson of various committees viz. The student welfare committee, cultural committee, hostel management committee, legal aid committee, and sports committee. He also served as Chief Proctor, Warden-in-chief, and Warden of PG Boys Hostel. He is also contributing as Chairperson of the Debate & Discussion Committee.
