Sanjay K. Diwakar has a master’s degree in computer application, Physics, and Information Science and a doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering. He has over 25 years of experience in University Administration and Computer Science. He was actively involved in Software Development using J2EE Technologies and had six years of teaching experience in Computer Science. Before joining this university, he worked as an information scientist at Kanpur University and as a research associate at Media Lab Asia, I.I.T. Kanpur.

He also works as Deputy Director, Policy & Planning at the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of U.P. and UP State Nodal Coordinator at Ministry of Education, All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE).
