Dr. Shakuntla Sangam is a Lawyer turned Academician joined Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University in the year 2009 as an Assistant Professor in Law. She has 15 years of teaching experience at the Master’s level (LL.M.) and Graduate level LL.B. (Hons.) She has more than seven years of experience in Practising Advocacy in various Courts and Tribunals.
She has been awarded Ph.D. Degree in Law from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (A Central University), Lucknow, in the year 2016, obtained her LL.B. degree from the University of Lucknow and LL.M. with specialization in Intellectual Property Laws from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University Lucknow. She has published various research papers in reputed and UGC-recommended journals, one book and chapters in book. She has participated and presented papers in several National and International Seminars/ Conferences/Workshops, Panel Discussion and Symposiums and also delivered lectures on different topics of law in different forums and organized various legal literacy camps and legal awareness programs for the communities in various districts. She is member of many academic and professional bodies. She has attended various Orientation, Refresher, Training and Faculty Development Programs organized by various Universities and Institutes. She is a member of the Editorial Board of RMLNLU journal on Communication, Media, Entertainment and technology law (CMET) and International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) peer reviewed and refereed journal published by IASET, USA and also working as reviewer for many journals.
She has rendered her services to the university in various administrative and academic capacities as member of different Committees including Girls Hostel Warden, etc. She has worked as Assistant Project Director -UNICEF Project on Child Protection in U.P., Co- Coordinator for Fellowship Programe on Orthopedic Rheumatology for Post MS/DNB Orthopedic Surgeons, Nodal Officer for the implementation of policy and programmes for disabled, in the university and working as member in different committees in the university.
