Prof. Vandana Singh is a graduate and postgraduate from Punjab University, Chandigarh. She cleared the MP-SLET, UGC-NET, and subsequently the UGC-JRF exams, then pursued her Ph. D. at the University of Lucknow. She taught at the Western History Department of the University of Lucknow as a UGC-JRF & Guest Faculty for three years. She joined Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, in 2006 as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) and for over 18 years now, she has taught Ancient, Medieval, Modern and Legal & Constitutional History to undergraduate law Students of Five Year B.A.LL.B. Programme. The areas of interest that she finds a voice in her published works include the Kashmir Imbroglio, Women and Dr Ambedkar.
