Dr. Manish Singh joined Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University in 2013 as an Associate Professor in Law. Prior to this, he served at the University of Lucknow and Bareilly College as an Assistant Professor of Law. He completed his post-graduation from Rohilkhand University and has been awarded a Doctorate by the University of Lucknow.
Dr. Manish has substantial academic work to his credit. As a distinguished academician, he has published a considerable number of research papers in various reputed national and international journals. He has also presented research papers at various national and international conferences.
He has a strong orientation towards Intellectual Property Laws and Business Laws. Specific areas of his interest are Patent Law and Practice, Corporate Law, Securities Law, International Trade Law and Competition Law. He has guided various Research Projects/Dissertations on the Law of Patents, Mergers and Acquisitions, Money Laundering, Securities Law, Corporate Governance, etc. Dr Manish Singh is also a Patent Agent registered with the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, and also empanelled as Patent Facilitator with the Indian Patent Office.
Dr. Manish has also delivered invited lectures on different aspects of business law at NLIU, Bhopal, MP Bhoj (Open) University, Bhopal, Institute of Management Studies Lucknow University, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and Technologies, Bareilly and Direct Taxes Regional Training Institute, Lucknow. He has also been very active in organizing Seminars, Legal Literacy Camps, and Moot Courts Competitions and has also adjudged various Moot Court Competitions. He has also been very active in the corporate life of the institutions wherever he has rendered his service. Presently, in his Administrative capacity, he is working as Warden-in-chief and heading various academic and administrative committees.
