Dispensary

The on-campus dispensary, led by an accomplished doctor and paramedical staff working from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, provides consultations, medications, and treatment without any charges, fostering a worry-free living environment. For more advanced healthcare needs, government hospitals like Lok Bandhu Hospital and SGPGI Lucknow and private hospitals like Apollo Super-specialty and SKD Hospital are located just few minutes away from campus, ensuring quick access to professional medical services in case of emergencies or specialized treatment. The university has its dedicated ambulance, available round the clock in the administrative block.

Ambulance/Medical Facilities - Important Points for Students

  • Students who need medical consultancy are advised to avail themselves of the University Medical Officer at the University Health Centre, which operates eight hours daily on all working days.
  • An ambulance facility shall be available to the students in case of medical emergencies to carry them to the nearest hospitals within a radius of 05 Kilometers.
  • Students requiring an ambulance facility shall first contact the University Medical Officer.
  • The Ambulance shall be provided to the satisfaction/recommendation of the Medical Officer only.
  • In case of extreme emergencies (like accidents, etc.), the student may also contact his/her hostel Warden, Assistant Warden or Chief Proctor, who will be authorized to call the ambulance in such situations.
  • The Ambulance shall not be provided for visiting hospitals for consultation purposes.

Mental Health Clinic

The Mental Health Clinic is established to ensure the mental health and emotional well-being of the students and the RMLNLU community. Mental health clinics offer a variety of services to assist those who are experiencing mental health problems. They frequently provide therapy, counselling, psychiatric services, and educational resources. Ms Neha Anand, a Counselling Psychologist, visits the RMLNLU campus twice weekly.
